Replacing the original Four Horsemen of The Apocalypse representing Conquest, War, Famine and Death with today’s four riders, namely Leo, Lulu, Lobie and Mae who come racing through the storm clouds - Leo on his white horse representing Conquest; Lulu on her red horse representing War; Lobie on his black horse representing Famine and Mae on her grey horse representing Death - the reinvented four find themselves hurtled into a series of cataclysmic events which - among others - include an unexpected visit from an indignant post-impressionist, a hand job with a distinct difference, a lady who is not for burning, a versatile wood chipper chipping more than wood - and last but not least; a glittering star en route to burnout.
Set in London, Paris, Italy, San Francisco, New York, Los Angeles and Malibu, the rides appear, at times, to be both impossible as well as exhausting but, for one or two of the horsemen, reaching the finishing line unscathed remains a probability. Whether the winner is Leo, Lulu, Lobie or Mae, depends on how capable they are when fisticuffs have no alternative but to become the most inventive of reparations and best friends become beast friends.
May the best horseman win.
